NSSA
The Nevada State Society of Anesthesiologists (NSSA) is a physician organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of anesthesia care and patient advocacy by promoting research, education, and innovation. The NSSA strives to raise and maintain the standards of the medical practice of anesthesiology for the improved safety and care of our patients.
Anesthesiologists are Medical Doctors dedicated to the relief of pain and total care of surgical patients before, during, and after surgery and procedures.

Our education includes 4 years of college, 4 years of medical school, and at least 4 years of specialized residency training in Anesthesiology.

As physicians, anesthesiologists are responsible for managing your vital life functions during surgery. This includes breathing, heart rhythm, and blood pressure. Your safety and comfort is our primary concern throughout your procedure and hospitalization.
